Description

Vintage Mid Century Light Mint Green Ceramic Egg-Shaped Deviled Egg Platter | 12 Well Celadon Server | Easter Farmhouse Kitchen

 Product Description:

Vintage mid-century ceramic egg-shaped deviled egg platter in a glossy light mint / celadon glaze.

The whole piece is an egg — not a round plate with wells dropped in. Twelve smooth oval indentations hold a dozen halved eggs. High-shine glaze, soft pastel color that photographs like robin’s egg or pale aqua depending on the light.

Era info

  • Decade: Mid-century, most likely 1950s–1970s
  • Why it reads that era: Egg-shaped body (the platter is an egg), 12 molded wells, high-gloss celadon / mint glaze, no transfer print, simple commercial pottery
  • Origin: Unmarked from the photo — typical Japan export or California pottery of the period. Flip it and add “Japan / USA / unmarked” once you check the back
  • Form: Deviled-egg server and display piece — the silhouette is the whole point
